Who we are
Loopmetric is a service operated by [Your legal name, or registered company name]. In these documents "we", "us" and "our" mean that operator, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.

What Loopmetric does
Loopmetric connects to the billing systems you already use, such as Stripe, Paddle and Chargebee, and turns the subscription data in them into analytics: monthly recurring revenue, churn, cohort retention and failed-payment recovery. We present and analyse your data. We do not take payments from your customers on your behalf, and we are not your payment processor.
Your account
You need an account to use the service. You agree to give accurate registration details, to keep your password secure, and to accept responsibility for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it.
If you open an account for a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on that company's behalf.
Accounts without a plan
You can create an account before choosing a plan, but the service only runs once a subscription is active. If a subscription ends, your workspace is paused rather than deleted, and your data remains available to you if you subscribe again.
Plans, prices and renewals
Plans are sold by the volume of tracked recurring revenue and by term length: one, three, six or twelve months. The price shown at checkout is the total for the whole term, charged upfront, in US dollars, and exclusive of any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term at the end of each period, at the price then in force, unless you cancel before renewal. If we change the price of your plan we will tell you before it affects you, and you may cancel instead of renewing. You can move between tiers or terms at any time; changes take effect as described at the point you make them.
Payments and merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Paddle collects payment, handles billing questions and is responsible for charging the applicable taxes. We never see or store your full card details.
Cancelling and refunds
You may cancel at any time. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and does not renew. Refunds, including our 30-day money-back guarantee, are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service unlawfully, or to process data you have no right to process;
- resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties unless we have agreed in writing;
- copy, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the platform;
- probe, scan or attempt to breach the security of the service, or interfere with its operation;
- upload malicious code, or place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We may suspend accounts that breach this section, where possible after warning you first.
Your data
The billing data you connect and everything derived from it remains yours. You grant us the licence we need to host, process and display it in order to run the service for you. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated, anonymised statistics that cannot identify you or your customers to improve and describe the service.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or remove features as the product develops. Where a change materially reduces what your plan offers, we will tell you. Intellectual property
We own the Loopmetric platform, its software, design and brand, and nothing in these terms transfers that ownership to you. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your subscription.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Loopmetric produces analytics to inform your decisions; it is not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and you remain responsible for the decisions you take.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if your payments fail and remain unpaid. After termination we delete or anonymise your data in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy, and you may export your data before you leave.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service and the law change. If a change materially affects your rights we will give you reasonable notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [Country or state whose law governs], and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law where you live.
